Rhea
Named after the Mighty Greek goddess Rhea, this little lady may have been the last born, but she is first in cuddles. As the baby of the pack, this Husky/Shepherd girl perfected the art of snuggling and makes certain her voice is heard – she is wonderfully verbal and full of personality ensuring to use her little voice to keep everyone in line. Magnolia is a 10 week Lab Shepherd Mix girl who is great with children and other pets. She is doing great with housebreaking and rides well in the car. She is about 15 pounds and is current on medical including microchip. Magnolia is being fostered in Norfolk. Hades
Named after the powerful Greek god Hades, this little ruler prefers naps over chaos – most of the time. This Husky/Shepherd mix boy is either peacefully snoozing like he owns the underworld… or tumbling around in full puppy mode edging the others to play a puppy game and owning the arena. He loves to be acknowledged, soaking up praise before claiming his freedom to play or nap. He was born 1-10-26. Mora
Mora is a sweet, loyal, and affectionate Min Pin Mix who loves belly rubs, toys, and long naps in the sun after some window watching. She bonds deeply with her people and thrives on snuggles and treats! She loves going for walks and exploring the outside. She would be best in an active home that will take her exploring, or at a minimum, someone with a fenced back yard that she can freely explore. Like many dogs, Mora takes mealtime seriously — she prefers to enjoy her food without interruptions. She may growl if another animal approaches her while she eats, but this is easily managed by placing her food in a quiet location without other pets. Outside of mealtime, shes a total lovebug who wants nothing more than to be by your side and follow you everywhere. She has a love of all humans big and small and is extremely tolerant and patient with the smallest of humans as they try to navigate their new worlds with pets and people. One of Mora’s favorite activities when she isn’t outside is to play tug of war with the other animals in the home. She is great with other dogs, big and small. Cats aren’t her favorite, and she will quickly chase them out of the room. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, great love for babies, adults and everything in between, Mora might just be your perfect match! She is being fostered in Newport News. Rocket
Rocket is a 3 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix boy who loves the snow. He will always find a spot to roll. Rocket is a calm boy who just wants love. He has been good with the other non confrontational dogs. He is good with children and is good on leash. Rocket rides well in the car. He weighs about 65 pounds. King is a 1 year old male Shepherd Collie Mix who is about 1 year old. He weighs about 40-45 pounds and is crate trained. King rides well in the car and he plays great with other young playful dogs. King is neutered, microchipped, has had bloodwork, fecal/dewormed, vaccinated, and is on mthly preventatives. He is being fostered in Gloucester. Joker
Joker is now up for adoption. He is a sweet loving Chihuahua boy who loves other dogs but would prefer a home without small children. He is also still afraid of men. He will need a home with patience for sure as he does takes time to adjust. But he loves to be around you and would love to have another play friend. He is affectionate when trusts u.
