Cheese is a 1 year old Lab Golden Retriever who just wants love and you guessed it- cheese. She is good with other non confrontational dogs. She is crate trained. Cappuccino
Cappuccino is a scruffy Terrier Mix boy born May 14. His mama is a fluffy Terrier (12 pounds) and daddy is a Daschund Chihuahua (13 pounds) We saved both mama and daddy in late April when mama was already pregnant. Everybody has gotten all routine medical care including fecals, deworming, vaccines, etc. machiatto is eating Iams Puppy food, learning to use pee pads, and has been socialized around cats, dogs, and children. Mora
Mora is a sweet, loyal, and affectionate Min Pin Mix who loves belly rubs, toys, and long naps in the sun after some window watching. She bonds deeply with her people and thrives on snuggles and treats! She loves going for walks and exploring the outside. She would be best in an active home that will take her exploring, or at a minimum, someone with a fenced back yard that she can freely explore. Like many dogs, Mora takes mealtime seriously — she prefers to enjoy her food without interruptions. She may growl if another animal approaches her while she eats, but this is easily managed by placing her food in a quiet location without other pets. Outside of mealtime, shes a total lovebug who wants nothing more than to be by your side and follow you everywhere. She has a love of all humans big and small and is extremely tolerant and patient with the smallest of humans as they try to navigate their new worlds with pets and people. One of Mora’s favorite activities when she isn’t outside is to play tug of war with the other animals in the home. She is great with other dogs, big and small. Cats aren’t her favorite, and she will quickly chase them out of the room. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, great love for babies, adults and everything in between, Mora might just be your perfect match! She is being fostered in Newport News. Cody
Cody is a Corgi Mix boy born May 8,2025. He will be ready to go his forever home weekend of June 28. Cody is 1 of a litter of 5 born to a Sheltie Corgi Mama and Dachund Corgi Dad. Both parents weigh about 30 pounds. Puppies are doing great at pee pad trained and weaning to Purina Pro Plan Puppy food. Puppies have been around cats, dogs, and children. Ruger
Ruger is a 2-3 year old neutered Husky who came to rescue after being kept in a very small cage out in the freezing temperatures. He has been such a good boy with us. He is now vet checked, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on mthly preventativesmicrochipped etc. Ruger has been professionally groomed where he had to be shaved down due to severe matting. Oliver
Oliver is a charming little dude, a 15-pound male Chihuahua/Standard Daschund mix with a big heart. He was rescued from a trailer park where some not-so-nice people dumped a bunch of Chihuahuas. Oliver is a total sweetheart who just wants to be loved, but he can be a bit shy at first. Don't worry, he's cool with other dogs and even enjoys baths. Plus, he's crate trained, so he's basically the perfect little roommate. He is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered soon.
